At the brief ceremony, the Governor charged the Acting Chief Judge to remain independent so that the last hope of the common man endures.
He also mourned the departed Chief Judge, Honourable Justice John Oyewole Adeyeye, and pledged that the state government would continue to do all in its power to ensure that the judiciary has a conducive atmosphere and policies to discharge their duties effectively.
In his remarks, Justice Ogunmoye thanked the Governor for his consistent support for the judiciary while calling for intensified collaboration to ensure that he consolidated and furthered the progressive legacies of his predecessors, especially the improvement of workers’ welfare. He further pledged to digitise the systems at the Ekiti State High Court.
We remain committed to ensuring the unfettered administration of justice in Ekiti State while upholding the independence and stability of the judiciary.
